Inclusive Swing

At any play area it is easy to see the joy of swinging, children and adults too shriek with joy and delight as they experience moving through the air. Wheelchair Access Swings enable wheelchair users to experience the joy and physical benefits of swinging.  Swinging helps develop gross motor skills, including balance and co-ordination.  As well as fine motor skills like gripping.  Swinging is a fantastic scource of vestibular input, which is used in sensory intergration therapy, for children with sensory processing disorders.

Swinging also encourages childrens imagination, soaring through the air like a bird, or the second of weightlessness like an astronaut. Imaginative play gives a huge range of physical and emotional benefits and performs vital roles in children's mental and physical development.  The Wheelchair Swing ensures children with limited mobility are not excluded from enjoying all aspects of swinging.
